I'm hesitant to use new program, how long does training take?

We understand that learning another program may feel like a chore. But we aren’t just any program.

Blackacre Pro’s interface was deliberately designed so that users can start managing their legal teams right out of the box.

Allow for about 10-20 minutes to get comfortable – it’s that easy to use.

Absolutely. Blackacre Pro provides for seamless delegation between regional offices and their staff.

What size of team does Blackacre Pro support?

Blackacre Pro may be used by any size of legal team, whether you are a regional, national,  international, solo-practitioner, or boutique firm or company.


Where are your servers located?

Blackacre Pro includes jurisdiction-friendly servers (e.g., all Canadian clients enjoy Canadian-based servers) with all monthly plans.

Is my data encrypted?

We use the latest in SSL and HTTPS technology, trusted by the world’s largest financial institutions.

How are your hosting facilities secured?

Our AWS hosting facilities are certified in the latest and most rigorous security protocols, including (to name a few):

What password technologies do you use?

We offer Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities with certain plans.

We are also compatible with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and others.

Will Blackacre Pro work on my network?

Absolutely. We use the latest in cloud-based technology, which may be securely accessed from anywhere and deployed with any existing infrastructure.



What forms of payment do you take?

Our standard forms of payment include credit card*, direct debit, and EMT.

Do you bill for the entire year up-front like other legal software?

Absolutely not.

We understand that smaller firms or companies have unique challenges, so we offer monthly billing.

What happens if I sign up but change my mind?

No problem. Our standard monthly plans allow you to cancel anytime with zero penalties or fees.


How long do you retain my data?

We retain your data for as long as you are using our platform. If you need to discontinue your use, we will keep your account dormant for 60 days, after which time all data is permanently deleted.

Can I backup or export my data?

Absolutely. We offer unrestricted backup and export capabilities.

Should you need a full export after you have discontinued use, just reach out to us within 60 days and we will rush a backup to you, free of charge.

How do you use our data?

Being lawyers ourselves, we understand the confidentiality of your information is a top priority. Our terms incorporate a strict confidentiality agreement for your and your clients’ protection.

We do not use your data within Blackacre Pro for the purposes of marketing or selling third-party products or services. In addition, we do not allow third-party access to your data without your consent.
